Your Custom Cabinet Journey
Here’s what to expect from start to finish.
Custom cabinets are a big investment, and you should know what’s coming before you commit. Every project follows the same eight steps in three phases. Most projects take about 8 to 13 weeks from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. You’ll always know where things stand and what comes next.
Phase 1: Plan
Roughly 1 to 2 weeks
1. Discovery + Project Vision
We start by learning about you. We talk through your goals, your style, your timeline, and what matters most for the project. This gives us a clear picture before any design work begins.
2. Estimate Review + Project Approval
Next, we go over the scope, the pricing, and the next steps together. You get the chance to ask questions and make sure everything feels right. Once you approve it, we begin your project.
Phase 2: Design
Roughly 2 to 3 weeks
3. Field Measure + Preliminary Design
We come to your space and measure everything ourselves. Then we build a preliminary design around those numbers so it fits your room and the way you use it.
4. Final Design Review + Approval
We finalize every detail with you, including selections and drawings. Nothing moves into production until you’ve signed off.
5. Production Drawings + Ordering
With the design approved, we prepare the production drawings, order materials, and coordinate the build.
Phase 3: Build
Roughly 5 to 8 weeks
6. Crafted in Our Shop
Your cabinetry is built and finished in our own shop. Every piece is quality checked with precision and care before it leaves.
7. Delivery + Installation
We deliver and install your cabinets with care. We coordinate with the other trades on your project, and we leave the jobsite better than we found it.
8. Final Walkthrough
We walk through the finished work together. We check that every detail is complete and within tolerance, so you can enjoy the space with confidence.
